We are extraordinary people

I came across this song by the trailer of this upcoming game which I’m dying to get (and equally dying hoping it releases on PC). The song is Not Your Kind Of People by Garbage. Although this record released last year, it perfectly sums up my growing up in childhood and even my current state. Just beautiful.

Heck it’s so beautiful that I’ll transcribe/put down the lyrics here so you don’t have to go anywhere.

We are not your kind of people.
You seem kind of phoney.
Everything’s a lie.
We are not your kind of people.
Something in your makeup.
Don’t see eye to eye.

We are not your kind of people.
Don’t want to be like you.
Ever in our lives.
We are not your kind of people.
We fight when you start talking.
There’s nothing but white noise

Running around trying to fit in,
Wanting to be loved.
It doesn’t take much.
For someone to shut you down.
When you build a shell,
Build an army in your mind.
You can’t sit still.
And you don’t like hanging round the crowd.
They don’t understand

You dropped by as I was sleeping.
You came to see the whole commotion.
And when I woke I started laughing.
The jokes on me for not believing.

We are not your kind of people.
Speak a different language.
We see through your lies.
We are not your kind of people.
Won’t be cast as demons,
Creatures you despise.

We are extraordinary people. We are…

Besides, one of my friends daily does a music blog with some cool music, you might want to check that out if you like hearing new different music.

Escape!

Describe your ultimate escape plan (and tell us what you’re escaping from).

Some of these daily prompts like this one truly makes me confused sometimes as to what exactly I’m supposed to say. Or think, as a matter of fact. Right now in real life, if I were to have a grand escape, it would be from the sort of messed up life I’m in, just do something worthwhile and run from here. Just figuring out what exactly is that I’m supposed to or want to. And speaking of escapes, I just finished playing BioShock Infinite, a game which was long awaited and finally done. Co-incidentally funny, that exactly dealt with a grand escape with a complex intellectual storyline, and was very beautiful.

Competition

What activity, task, or game most brings out your competitive streak?

I’m not much of a competition hungry person. I just like doing what I like with a varying degree amount of passion. I like love playing video games, though I’m more of a story and experience person than the again typical competitive multiplayer ones.

My most favourite game till date is The Witcher 2: Assassin’s of Kings, you can read my review of it from last year.

As I said I’m not the type into competitive or spectator sports or such activities, but when it comes to it I’m more of like:

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

So what will be the most amazing and epic game of our lives was revealed, and sadly it will be the final witcher game (but you may never know in the future). Real bittersweet news. The Witcher franchise is my most favourite, and they beat the shit out of almost everyone else in  terms of mature complex story and wonderful look. Here is to Geralt’s possibly last epic adventure!

You can check out my review of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.

The Definition of Poke-Insanity

Two of my very favourite games, Far Cry 3 meets Pokemon. Vaas questions existence itself, two of our (yet unknown) no. of dimensions. That is here, Pokemon X/Y.

Okay a small sort of cameo by Link. That makes it three games.

Here is the original epic scene from Far Cry 3:

“Cyberpunk isn’t about saving humanity, it’s about saving yourself”

City lights, fog, strangers passing by… Watch Mike Pondsmith the creator of the pen-and-paper RPG Cyberpunk 2020® & by it the genre itself, and learn about his inspirations for creating a dystopian metropolis of Night City.

“We have fought to find somebody who was enough of a fan of the world and the game to not want to go change it around or to stick a labeal of cyberpunk on it and then do something totally different”.

His vision for Cyberpunk is truly amazing to see and his passion combined with the great CD Projekt Red, we are going to get an epic sci-fi for which the world has been waiting for over the past 2 decades.

I simply can’t wait!

Revival of the Cyberpunk genre

Recommended: Watch in HD.

The teaser for the much anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 by creators of the epic The Witcher franchise, CD Projekt Red is upon us! Being a big fan of The Witcher franchise and their Polish developers CDP (shortened) for whom I have immense love and respect for, for they are one of the only few out there who are most fan oriented and live for the essence of the true gaming experience.

I have been waiting for this since first heard about it at the witcher forums a year ago or so and simply can’t wait! While this genre has been seen quite in many forms in different media like movies and video games, THIS is the real shit. Mike Pondsmith (yes, the actual creator of the genre!) himself is closely working with CDP in making this open world sci-fi epic.
