Though I don’t quite remember the last time, there have been quite many such moments at not-so-reasonable places, including while being in the toilet/bathroom. Yep, ideas or stuff strikes at anytime when you’re aren’t expecting. 😛
Although I must say, quite many of these moments are instead lost on the likes of facebook and twitter, instead of posting on my blog(s). Sometimes I feel they kinda of ruin this.
I’m fortunate enough to attend blogging events here, which I never anticipated would be even be present years ago.
While my lethargy is succeeding from letting me doing anything as of now, you can have a look at past events here and in my other blog.
Are writing prompts a useful exercise, or do you find them to be too limiting and/or hokey?
I personally find them very engaging, well the WordPress community is great and daily prompts & challenges from the daily post are really good. So far, since I’ve started sine the first of January this year, I’ve been able to blog every single day (give or take), be it simply an image, few lines or a 2000 word long post. I love this community for the same, for helping me feel alive, even for a little bit. 🙂
I already consider myself a ‘successful blogger’, if there is such a thing, because I’m quite happy with what I’m doing and that’s good enough for me. 🙂
There’s NO such thing as a terrible writer. 🙂
Usually what I think at the moment. Well, usually I don’t think at all, though that’s a different story…
I’m blogging for over 7 years now, starting with writing ‘posts’ on different sites, then eventually making my own blog whose link you can see above. I’ve learned a lot along the way (I guess?) which you can notice from my initial posts over there and now here. I started this one for very frequent writing and thanks to the WordPress community and daily post this become an everyday-must-post-something ‘ritual’ for me.
If one experience or life change results from you writing your blog, what would you like it to be?
Something really life changing, on an ‘global scale’. Perhaps a journey of a lifetime?
What makes a blog great? What makes you follow a blog or “Like” a post?
That’s a very interesting question whose answer I would like to know about my blog(s) myself. Of course, the answer is the content.
