Mirror, Mirror

Look in the mirror. Does the person you see match the person you feel like on the inside? How much stock do you put in appearances?

Well, I usually don’t like what I see in the mirror but have learned to embrace and better it. Still learning.

As for the other question, somewhat but not too much.

And, just for your today’s learning (just in case if you didn’t know which can probably be the case), the original quote actually goes “Magic Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?” Yeah, one of the most all time misquotes lines ever.

Just a lunch

It’s one of those winter afternoons which I like, not hot or cold, just pleasant.
I’m sitting with my meaty sandwich just the way I like it. Chicken, ham, pepperoni, eggs, and cheese.
My mouth was already watering when it was being made, and as I hastily unwrap it to eat it.
I take a bite. And another. I look around. Some people around.
Another bite.
I uploaded the picture I took on Instagram before the devouring began for the on-going #100happydays.
I look at the time, and tad reflect on my life.
By this time, the sandwich is over. Lunch is done.

Now it was time for desert.

The Luckiest People

“That’s a wonderful story.”

“He was a wonderful man. And when a man is that special, you know it sooner than you think possible. You recognize it instinctively, and you’re certain that no matter what happens, there will never be another one like him.”
― Nicholas Sparks, The Lucky One

What matters isn’t being applauded when you arrive – for that is common – but being missed when you leave.
