Storage Memory

Here is picture showcasing memory for me.

ImageHere you can see a oval stone painted by yours truly which is almost 15 years old!  I loved collecting all sorts of stones back in the day, I might even have them lying around hopefully. Beside it is a ghost I made which is also very old similar to the stone. Just a ball wrapped around and sealed with a handkerchief and and sparkles for the face. I actually had names for these two, which I sadly don’t remember but I’m sure I must have written it somewhere, as I was always a loner and tend to write and keep to myself most of the time.

Aside from these two self made items which one would probably find in a garage sale of the like, the other stuff you can is are also pertained to the old days of mine, The blue thing is the butt of a big pencil sharpener in the shape of a cute baby elephant. Okay not that cute. That my pop got from Singapore, again over a decade ago. Along with that in the side are Snoopy and some Hello Kitty figurines also bought with the elephant sharpener.

And the two big stuff in between are my old yet one of the most amazing phones of that time, Sony Ericsson C905 which now lies in rest. Good memories. And my precious Linkin Park dog tags from ’03. Only current stuff is my house keys with the NY key chain which I currently use. 😛

Top Picks

Alright I haven’t done something like this before and there is always a first time so, I need your help, the readers across the realm of the internet this time. A direct interaction with the virtual citizens of the internet. Well sort of. Help me writing my next post, and well get to know a bit more about you (whoever you maybe). 😀

Interviewing the Batman

url.jpgSo if I were to interview my favourite fictional character, here Batman, typically it would be something like:

Me: (*Ask any question*)

Batman: I’m Batman.

And while already mentioned before, this never gets old and what’s likely to happen:

Unconventional Love

I seriously don’t know what to say for unconventional love. Heck I barely know what to say for love itself. But this begins to make me question everything in existence, and besides most people really don’t have any idea. I would have said I love my laptop and stuff, which is quite true, but then again, there are many in my position and it’s not even unconventional in the sense anymore.

This is something to contemplate on.

Love is…

Love is… is the name of a comic strip created by New Zealand cartoonist Kim Casali in the late 1960s. Yep that’s the first thing which comes into my mind when asked what is love (according to me, but it doesn’t matter as people only stick to ‘their version’ of things always, or does it?) Facts or rather the absolute truth cannot have ‘perspectives’ or ‘opinions’ contrary to what people usually think, and well, who makes sense anyways. Besides I’m tired of all those soapy and cliché talks and will stick to the subject here.

This is a very famous worldwide strip, consisting of a panel with a young boy and girl with different ‘meanings of love’ in a very sweet manner. Ought to check it out if you didn’t knew about it already. Of all those rather intellectual talks, I find this one of the best representations of what love really is. Check out this touching post by a friend and fellow blogger who unlike me isn’t lazy enough to write more on this rather same topic.

Quite Literally

Language evolves. The meaning of a word can shift over time as we use it differently — think of “cool,” “heavy,” or even “literally.”

Today, give a word an evolutionary push: give a common word a new meaning, explain it to us, and use it in the title of your post.

Ah this is ‘my type’ of prompt. There are so many such words which have gained additional meanings over time, and sadly all what most people know are the irrelevant or absolute hogwash ones. And many easily associate ones which don’t make sense at all. Others are as said above are just thrown about loosely.

I’d like to share one such story of butchery of a word, here as you might have guess. This brilliant comic courtesy of the ever amazing The Oatmeal.
