About The Nameless One

Cinematographer. Conversationalist. Coffee Slayer. Vagabond story teller. Gamer. Life enthusiast. I just do things.

Placebo Effect

If you could create a painless, inexpensive cure for a single ailment, what would you cure and why?

Common cold. Seriously. Here’s why:

  • No cure exists, and an instant cure for it would be really helpful.
  • While there are more dreadful diseases like cancer and AIDS which needs treating, well, most of the best minds are already on it, and many answering this question would respond with the same. So enough people already on it.
  • It sucks. Royally.

Conflicted

You’re in the middle of a terrible argument, and everyone turns to you to help resolve it. How do you respond? How do you react to conflict?

Just how most conversations are reasonably resolved, hearing all sides and finding common ground. Also my response will depend on how serious (or stupid) the whole premise is.

Trick or Treat

If bloggers had their own Halloween and could go from blog to blog collecting “treats,” what would your blog hand out?

A moment of truth. Doesn’t exactly cut it as a treat though.

I always find Halloween very fascinating. Too bad it isn’t celebrated here in India, just among few pockets of people here where I live in Mumbai, but too bad I’m not much of a social elite either.

As Dexter Morgan puts it, “I love Halloween. The one time of year when everyone wears a mask… not just me. People think it’s fun to pretend you’re a monster. Me, I spend my life pretending I’m not. Brother, friend, boyfriend – All part of my costume collection.”

I feel that’s true for many of us.

First!

Tell us about your first day at something — your first day of school, first day of work, first day living on your own, first day blogging, first day as a parent, whatever.

I remember my first day of college back in 2010. Suffice to say, it was not something I want to remember. In a way uneventful, boring day with a petty fight against the professor right in the morning within some minutes of college beginning. That bad start is still sort of lingering.
