To Run in a Dream

What sort of music was played in your house when you were growing up? What effect, (if any) did it have on your musical tastes?

I’ve listened to a variety while growing up, and I’m not stuck into a genre or kind specifically. While I have more preference towards rock n roll, country and recently folk music, anything which is pleasant for the ear and soothes the soul is my thing.
